I am a professional editor with more than 3 years of experience working for the journal Nature Communications. My remit focuses on agricultural sciences with a particular interest in agroecology, soil ecology, insect microbiota and plant physiology.
I studied Biology at the University of Valencia, Spain, and a Master in Plant Sciences by the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. My interest in agriculture led me to study the tomato spider mite microbiota at the Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil. I continued my academic career studying the microbiota of the vine weevil with an agricultural perspective while conducting my PhD at Harper Adams University and The James Institute, in the UK.
